Send Secure mail: Galaxkey Apps

This section details the process of sending secured emails from

1.Galaxkey app for hand-held devices: iOS & Android

2.Galaxkey app for Mac

3.Galaxkey Web Access (GWA)

Sending secured mails from Galaxkey apps is a simple two-step process which includes

1.Associating Galaxkey attributes to a composed email

2.Transferring a secured mail to the native mail app to send it further (for Mac, iOS and Android).

Composing Secured Email - Hand-held Devices

Tap the Galaxkey icon on your device to open the Galaxkey app and log on to Galaxkey.

On the app Home page, tap ‘New Email’.

Note: If you have not logged on already, Galaxkey will prompt you to login when you tap the ‘New secure Email’ button


Enter the recipients' email ids in To and Cc.

If you have allowed Galaxkey to access your contacts, you can select them. If you have chosen not to, you will have to manually enter the email ids.


After you have composed the email and assigned a subject, you can do the following:

1.Add Attachments

2.Insert Digital Signature

3.Set Notifications

Composing Secured Email - Mac

Click the Galaxkey icon on your desktop to open the Galaxkey app and log on to Galaxkey.

On the app Home page, tap ‘New Email’.

Note: If you have not logged on already, Galaxkey will prompt you to login when you tap the ‘New secure Email’ button

Enter the recipients' email ids in To and Cc.

Sending Secured emails - GWA

The Galaxkey Manager > Data Protection > Secure Emails section lets you send and access your secured emails.

Note: You will receive a copy of the secured email sent via GWA in your Outlook Inbox, instead of being listed in the Outlook Sent Items.

To send a secured email via GWA;

1.Click the 'Compose' menu option to write a new mail.

2.Enter the recipients' email ids in To and Cc and compose the email.


After you have composed the email and assigned a subject, you can do the following:

2.Insert Digital Signature

3.Set Notifications
