Reply & Forward Emails

The Authorised Data Distribution (ADD) in Galaxkey the owner of the email control whether the email and in turn its contents can be shared with the shared users' contacts.

Secured Reply

You can send a secured reply to the received secured email.

Click the Reply or Reply All to reply to the email owner;

1.If the owner has allowed the shared users to reply, a compose window, with the original mail trail, will open. You can compose a reply, associate Galaxkey attributes and send it to the recipients as you do with a new secured mail.

2.If the owner has NOT allowed the shared users to reply, a message is displayed to inform you that you cannot reply to the email.

NOTE: Presently, only the mails sent from Galaxkey Add-in for Outlook can have the reply blocked.

Secured Forward

You can securely forward to the received secured email to your contacts.

Click the Forward button from the option menu.

1.If the owner has allowed the shared users to forward the email, a compose window, with the original mail trail, will open. You can compose the email, add recipients and associate Galaxkey attributes and send it to the recipients as you do with a new secured mail.

2.If the owner has NOT allowed the shared users to forward the email, you can raise a request to permit you to forward the email.

NOTE: Presently, only the mails sent from Galaxkey Add-in for Outlook can have the forward block.

Raising Forward Permission Request

You can securely forward to the received secured email to your contacts.

Click the Forward button from the option menu. Since the owner has NOT allowed the shared users to forward the email, an alert is displayed blocking the forwarding of email.

NOTE: Presently, only the mails sent from Galaxkey Add-in for Outlook can have the forward block.


When you click Yes on the alert a Forward Permission request email is sent to the email owner.

If the owner approves the request, you can forward this email to the shared users for whom the request is approved.
